SBD Kick Off 2026 was designed as an annual sales and marketing conference focused on strengthening team collaboration and engagement. The event made full use of the venue space, hosting the main conference alongside team-building activities, including a company Bingo night, a motivational session delivered by Jez Rose, and culminating in an Oscar-themed awards gala dinner, with live entertainment from Rick Parfitt Junior to close the evening.
At the heart of the event design was a large 14m x 4m LED screen, delivering crisp, high-resolution visuals. As the event was sales-focused, the scale and configuration were carefully planned to ensure smaller data, figures, and graphs remained clearly visible to all attendees.
To complement the visual experience, we installed a stadium-scale audio system designed to provide maximum coverage throughout the venue. The audio deployment was carefully engineered around the room’s dimensions and ceiling height, ensuring consistent, evenly distributed sound across the entire space.
The lighting design incorporated over 200 fixtures, including beam, profile, wash, and scenic uplighting, all working together to enhance the overall visual aesthetic. The system was controlled via a lighting desk operating across 20 Art-Net universes of DMX, allowing precise and dynamic programming throughout the event.
In addition to the lighting package, we installed a four-way laser system on stage, providing impactful visual effects for both the live band and DJ performances.
Having access to a wide range of fixture capabilities enabled seamless transitions from the daytime conference environment to the evening gala dinner. The gala dinner required a 30-minute room turnaround, during which our team installed over 50 furniture pieces, including LED bars, tables, sofas, and armchairs. The transformation was completed with a 24m x 6m gauze drop, creating a stylish separation that formed a dedicated lounge and drinks reception area.
Our client was over the moon with the entire show – numerous compliments from guests with WOW being the most common phrase heard!
