To turn the blank canvas of Old Billingsgate Market into a vibrant and classy event space ready to host UEFA’s Gala Dinner ahead of the Champions League Final at Wembley. We were asked to provide LED wall, lighting, audio, staging and a bespoke scenic set build to transform both in and outside the venue.
The carefully planned build for the event was completed in only 24 hours, with a meticulous production schedule that required clear and concise communication from our Project manager across various suppliers and stakeholders.
Working with the many challenges that come with listed venues, our Project Managers worked closely with the client from the initial concept to offer creative solutions and problem solve along the way.
Throughout the build our team worked tirelessly to achieve a fantastic finish and our dedicated Project Manager was onsite throughout to lead the team and also support the client with any last minute alterations or requests that came along.
The result was an elegant stage with multiple levels that showcased performances from West End performers and wowed guests such as the Mayor of London and the Head of UEFA.
With an incredible D&B sound system working across two spaces and extending to the outside terrace the performances looked and sounded incredible.
185 Lighting fixtures across the two main spaces and illuminating the building facade created a wonderful spectacle and set an atmosphere that was able to flow between dinner service, West End musical performances to DJ party sets.
