We were asked to deliver a full-scale production for Birmingham City Football Club’s end of season Players Awards, held at the ICC in Birmingham. The event required a complete technical setup, including the installation of LED screens, projectors, professional lighting, and a high-quality audio system.
Our goal was to create an engaging and visually impressive environment that reflected the significance of the event and also celebrated the club’s recent promotion.
A 6m x 3m LED wall served as the central visual feature, flanked by six LED totem flags to enhance the branding and atmosphere. Two laser projectors were used for IMAG screens, ensuring clear visibility for all attendees. A Disguise media server managed the video playback, allowing for seamless transitions and high-quality content delivery. We also installed dual glass teleprompters and comfort monitors to support presenters and hosts.
We added to the venue’s own lighting rig with an extra 50 fixtures positioned on stage and around the balcony to create a dynamic lighting design. We also provided a full DJ setup and technical production for the band to ensure flawless entertainment throughout the evening.
We worked closely with the client throughout ensuring the technical design fully met their brief and expectations and was in line with their budget. We generated renders so they were easily able to see what the proposed designs would look like and make any changes as necessary.
On the day our crew ensured the production was completed seamlessly. The entire event was efficiently managed within a single day, from setup through to breakdown. The end result was a visually stunning event for the client and their guests.
